It’s finally October, which means Halloween will be here in no time. With the holiday soon approaching, many businesses will be incorporating some spooktacular Halloween marketing. Everything from decorating your store, offering limited-time Halloween products, and attending community fall festivals.

Spooky Decorations

It’s time to pull out all your eerie-sistable Halloween props and decorations. Your consumers will love to see your store dressed up with some spooky items. For example, if you own a retail store, you can style your mannequins with orange and black merchandise. You can also put up creepy window displays and set-up a fog machine. For a more family-friendly environment, you can arrange a pumpkin display outside your store’s front door and decorate inside with artificial fall leaves, greenery, and wreaths.

Limited-Time Products

With the start of fall and the cooler weather rolling in, many people are anticipating the fall and Halloween-themed products soon to come. If you own a restaurant, now is the time to start selling everything pumpkin-spice. You can also incorporate witches brew drinks and some delicious Halloween cookies. Make sure your customers know about the new products by posting on social media leading up to the release. Get them excited by engaging with them on your social media platforms.

Local Fall Festivals

Fall festivals are a great opportunity for small businesses to get involved with their community. Many fall festivals sell booth space for vendors, so make sure you get your business a spot! Decorate your booth with some boo-tiful decorations and set-up a fun Halloween game like bobbing for apples or wrap the mummy. Make sure you have plenty of candy to hand out to the kids. Give the parents some candy too, but attach your business card and any fall specials you’re running during the month of October.
